A local band has a tie to a national show. Local band Einstein's Sister will have a song featured in an episode of Hulu's new docudrama series, "Pam and Tommy".

The song to be featured in the show is "Together We're Alone" from the band's album 'Learning Curves'. The band says the show will be using their version of the song.

"Pam & Tommy" is a new Hulu series about the sex tape scandal involving Baywatch star Pamela Anderson (played in the show by Lily James) and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee (played by Sebastian Stan). The scandal broke in the early days of the interwebs. In 1995, when "viral" was just a type of infection, a video cassette tape of the two celebrities leaked into the new creation called the internet. The scandal would go on to set the stages for similar ones to follow.

Einstein's Sister released the album 'Learning Curves' in 1999. Check out their video for the song "Together We're Alone" here:

Based out of Illinois, Einstein's Sister features Bill Douglas on vocals and Kerry Tucker on guitar. The power-pop group released their first album in 1997, called Oceanus. They would go on to release another album after 'Learning Curves', called 'Humble Creatures' in 2000.

The post from Einstein's Sister does not mention which episode their song will appear in, but in this season of the show, there will be 8 total episodes with the new ones being released on every Wednesday through March 9.
