Quad Cities Costco Dream Becomes Reality

It's official. Davenport is getting a Costco. Does that send tingles down your spine?

I've seen Costco in Coralville many times but have never stopped in because I'm in a hurry to get to Cedar Rapids to see my sister, or I don't quite make it that far because I'm stopping at Coral Ridge Mall to hit Zombie Burger.

According to WQAD, Davenport city council has approved zoning. It will sit on 18 acres on 53rd St.

Costco Wholesale Corporation trading as Costco, is the largest American membership-only warehouse club. As of 2015, Costco was the second largest retailer in the world after Wal-Mart and as of 2016, Costco was the world's largest retailer of choice prime beef, organic foods, rotisserie chicken, and wine.

The store is set to open next summer.
