The Quad City Storm are ending 2021 with an awesome game against their rivals down the road, the Peoria Rivermen. So far, the Storm are 4-1 in the Cold War on 74, so it's sure to be an interesting game.

It's also Radar's birthday, so the team will be donning some one-of-a-kind Top Gun-themed jerseys that will be up for auction.

Radar went out to the Quad City International Airport for a special photoshoot to show off his birthday outfit.

Just to make the night even more special, the Quad City Storm have partnered with Crawford Company to give away a specially made pint glass to the first 1,000 fans to come through the door.

The pint glass features both the logos of the Quad City Storm and Crawford Company.

I know it's the Peoria Rivermen, but I hope we all can stay classy and NOT try to pelt Hagaman with a glass cup from the upper bowl.

Friday night is also the night that the Quad City Storm are holding a fundraising Ball Drop for the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley.

Every ball purchased for the drop will be placed in a giant bag. During the second intermission of the game, the bag will be raised up in the air over a target and the balls will be released.

The ball that lands closest to the center of the target wins the grand prize.

Online purchases can be made up to 11:59pm, December 16th, at the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley website.

Balls will also be available for purchase at the game, for purchase up to the second intermission.
