We may have dodged the snow but the ice this morning caused a series of issues in the Quad Cities. As I scanned all the news from the QCA today, one thing was quite obvious; the freezing rain that came in last night wrecked havoc on morning travel.

From accidents and lane closures on every major highway and bridge, to canceled games and people falling, needing medical help. There always seems to be circumstances where people can't or won't stay in during storms like this, no matter the warnings from the Scott County Emergency Management Agency.
