Rock Out With Paws Out At Rescue Rocks In Bettendorf For The Humane Society

Help the shelter pets and enjoy some good live music!

Back for another jam session is Rescue Rocks at The Tangled Wood in Bettendorf after raising $20,000 for local animal shelters last fall.

This time, proceeds are going to help out the Humane Society of Scott County!

Rescue Rocks will be on June 6th from 2:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

And perhaps best of all...it's free. 

Yours Very Sincerely here will be emceeing it and, as I own all shelter pets myself, cannot wait to hang out with you for this.

It's a summer Saturday night- you'll be out somewhere with a bevy and live music anyway. Why not make it somewhere for a good cause?

Lineup

It's local bands you know and love. The exact times look like this:

• 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Rude Punch (reggae rock vibes)
• 5:15 p.m.-7:15 p.m.: For Those About To Yacht (yacht rock vibes...obviously)
• 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.: 10 Of Soul (soul, funk, R&B)

Yes Adoptable Pets Will Be There

Besides the live music, you can check out a silent auction that will benefit the Humane Society, along with meeting some of the animals you can adopt and shelter staff can answer any adoption-related questions you have.

The event's free but you should still consider bidding on silent auction stuff and helping out the Humane Society of Scott County however you can.

Though I'll be inhaling Tangled Wood's flawless crab rangoon dip, there will be exclusive 'Rescue Rocks' menu items and drink specials all day long.
