Roads To Avoid This Weekend For Bix & Ragbrai
This weekend Davenport will be flooded with people coming to either celebrate the Bix or the ending of Ragbrai which means a lot of roads will be out of commission.
In order to effectively navigate around the closures, we will give you a heads up on what roads to avoid come Friday.
AVOID:
Closures for The Bix
- 2nd Street from Pershing Ave. to Ripley St.
- 2nd, 3rd & 4th Streets from River Drive to Ripley St.
- Kirkwood & McClellan Blvd's
- Brady Street from 3rd St. past 8th
- A portion of Jersey Ridge Road & Middle Road
- 4th Street from LeClaire Street to Brady Street & Perry Street
Closures for Ragbrai
- Utah Avenue from Locust Street to River Drive
- Telegraph Avenue from Utah Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue
- River Drive from Utah Street to Marquette Street
- Credit Island Lane from River Drive South (where the dip is)
- Marquette Street from River Drive to Beiderbecke Drive
