An overturned cattle truck resulted in a partial shutdown of Interstate 280, according to our news partner Local 4 News WHBF.

The accident happened early Friday morning around midnight.

The cattle truck was seen on its side in a ditch between  I-80 and the exit ramp onto I-280 heading westbound.

After the crash, several cattle escaped and were seen being corralled by law enforcement need the site of the accident. I-280 westbound was completely shutdown, and I-80 eastbound was re-routed onto I-280 eastbound.

This story is still developing. No information has been given about the cause of the rollover, if any cattle were injured in the accident or the status of the driver.
