Silvis Police Look for 2 Armed Robbery Suspects

Caught on video surveillance, these men are being sought after by Silvis Police Department.

With the heartbreaking news of 2 Des Moines officers killed in 'ambush' attacks today on my mind and in my prayers (and everyone else's), it would have been nice if crime just took the day off. Tensions are high and police officers are on alert, as they should be.

Silvis Police Department is asking for your help. Earlier today, around 11:30 am, two men, armed with a pellet gun, robbed a business on 1st avenue in Silvis.

Suspect one is described as a white male with shaggy hair and a mustache believed to be in his mid-forties to early fifties. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, jean shorts and black and white colored tennis shoes.

Suspect two is described as a white male with a close-cropped beard believed to be in his early 20s. He was wearing a green Monster energy drink ball cap, white long sleeved shirt, blue jeans and boots.
