So You Want To Be A Fair Queen?

One of the things I've always wanted to do is be the Mississippi Valley Fair Queen. If you have big dreams like I do, here's your chance.

In all seriousness, applications are now being taken for this years fair queen. Contestants must be between 17 and 21 on August 9th, 2018, must live in Scott County or a surrounding county, never been married or have children, and must also be a member of at least one service organization in her community. On top of a sweet sash, crown, and the title Miss Mississippi Valley Fair, the winner will also receive a $500 scholarship from the Mississippi Valley Fair.

Applications are available at the fair office, 2815 W. Locust St during regular business hours Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm. Deadline for applications is June 1, 2018.
