Sophie Turner revealed she and husband Joe Jonas broke up before getting married.

In a candid new interview with the Sunday Times, the Game of Thrones star admitted her relationship with the Jonas Brothers singer isn't as perfect as we all think it is. In fact, right before they tied the knot in Las Vegas earlier this month, the couple secretly split up. Thankfully, the breakup only lasted 24 hours.

"It was the worst day of our lives," she said. "For a second we both had cold feet, then 24 hours later we were both, like, 'Never mind.'"

As previously reported, Turner and Jonas had a surprise wedding in the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Vegas strip following the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. The ceremony featured a star-studded guest list, complete with Elvis Presley impersonator, who officiated the wedding, rings pops, and a live Dan + Shay performance.

Though Turner didn't confirm what led to their brief break up, she did imply her mental health might have had something to do with it. The 23-year-old actress explained how experiencing fame at such a young age—after landing the role of Sansa Stark at age 13—took a toll on her mentally.

"Having your adolescence being displayed in public, that's something I really wish hadn't happened," Turner said. "Being in the age of social media when that's happening, I think I would be a much saner person if I hadn't been documented from 13—your most awkward, uncomfortable, unsure-of-yourself years."

She admitted Jonas “saved” her from a very dark time in her life.

“I was going through this phase of being very mentally unwell,” Turner recalled. “He was, like, ‘I can’t be with you until you love yourself, I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself.’ That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”
