Reports out of Detroit this morning say singer Chris Cornell from the 90's Seattle grunge rock band Soundgarden was found dead of a suspected suicide. He was 52. Get the full story here.

Soundgarden rose to fame in the 90's with the hit "Black Hole Sun" which peaked at #9 on the Billboard Pop Charts and #1 on the Billboard Rock Charts.

Chris was known not only for Soundgarden, but was the front-man for the super group Audioslave featuring members of Rage Against The Machine. The put out 3 albums before disbanding in 2007 when Cornell quit the band.

I have seen Chris perform with Soundgarden on two occasions in the 90's. Once at the Palmer Auditorium, the other at Lollapalooza with Metallica and the Ramones. The world has lost a amazing voice.
