Southeast Little League Hangs In For Region Final Friday

Thanks to some strong pitching by Blake Bishop and some great batting from the whole team Thursday, the Davenport Southeast Little League 12u All Stars are headed for the Region Final.

Southeast Little League will face the team from Webb City, Missouri that defeated them on Wednesday and sent them to the elimination round against North Dakota. Southeast beat the North Dakota kids 3-2.

With that win, Southeast Little League and Webb City go on to the winner-take-all regional championship game on Friday - the loser goes home, the winner goes to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series, which starts next Wednesday.

Webb City qualified for today's game in their 3-1 win over Southeast Little League on Wednesday, the only loss on either team's record for this Midwest Region series.
