St. Patrick’s Day Party at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds Cancelled

The festivities at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds this weekend for St. Patrick's Day have been called off.

In an update from, Shawn Loter, General Manager of the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, He told me that with much consideration the fairgrounds would have to cancel the event saying, "Considering crowd size and the recommendations from the CDC we cannot continue this event."

A St. Patrick's Day part two is in the talks for later down the road.

Governor Kim Reynolds is speaking at 4:30 Friday March 13th, and is expected to have more about the situation in Iowa.
