Sterilite Considers New Manufacturing Center in Davenport
Mayor Frank Klipsh has anncounced that Sterilte is considering Davenport as home to a possible new manufacturing and distribution center.
The company is considering an 160-acre site near the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center for the facility, costing $73 million.
The new facility would be Davenport's largest building creating 500 new jobs added to the area.
Sterilite produces household plastics such as storage tubs, linen and waste baskets, kitchenware and more.
