The Bus Shortage Is So Bad, A School Hired A Party Bus With Stripper Poles For A Field Trip

A bunch of kids on a stripper bus?!

Jim Mayers, who teaches high school English, recently took to Twitter to show that there is, in fact, a bussing shortage going on right now.

His school turned to the private market and tried to use charter buses for a field trip, but when that fell through, they had to turn to the privates market, for lack of a better term.

"Due to the national school bus driver shortage, my school has hired a party bus with stripper poles to transport us for a field trip," he wrote on Twitter. "This is not a drill."

The photo he shared shows the LED mood lighting and at least two stripper poles, along with the tops of his students' heads.

Jim went on to explain that even though the ride there may have been awkward, the school accomplished their goal of giving the kids a good experience, and we can all be happy about that.
