The Moline Public Library Is Teaching People How Not To Die
How not to die. It seems like a pretty simple concept. But every now and then it gets a little tricky, so the Moline Public Library is helping us out. Beginning on January 7th, they're offering a series of presentations, literally called "How Not To Die."
More precisely, the presentations are about living a healthy lifestyle, like exercising and eating properly. There will be one every week, with different guest speakers. Here's the list, per the Dispatch Argus:
• Jan. 7: Beth Bryant, DPT, How Not to Diet; the Relationship Between Food and Chronic Disease
• Jan. 14: Anne Haring, Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) Cooking 101 with demonstration
• Jan. 21: Teri and Del Preston, Popeye or Wimpy: Fitness and Functionality on a WFPB Lifestyle and Eating Healthy on the Road
• Jan. 28: Dr. Cheryl True, Lifestyle Medicine: Putting Evidence into Action to Rebalance the Health/Disease Equation
Of course, we have our only healthy living guru on air! You can catch her on B100 every Saturday and all through Christmas week!
