The Power of Love Helped this Iowa Family
This Iowa couple got the most unexpected miracle.
When it comes to love, it's both the most self-love and self-sacrifice you'll ever experience. To me, love means loving yourself enough to accept it and loving someone else enough to sacrifice, sometimes to the extent of your own wants and needs, for the other person.
Infertility is often suffered in silence because there is such a taboo around this conversation, yet it happens to those we know and love. I have known the feeling myself for a short time when I was experiencing a bout of infertility. I have known friends and family who have gone through it for years. It is painful and as a community, we need to embrace and love those going through it. I cried like a baby when I watched the story of Heath and Jody Bullock and what happened in their life.
This is one of the most heart-warming stories I've seen. It's love, it's sacrifice, it's all of the good things about humanity that helps restore our faith in it. This is like something straight out of 'This is Us.'
