Summer jobs are crucial for many people, especially teens and young adults. Getting a summer job helps pay for bills and fun activities during the school year, but if you or someone you know is nervous about finding a summer job this event is here to help.
The Moline public library is helping teens, and adults find a summer job.
Susan Zelnio, Moline Foundation Workforce Development Program Director, will review the basics for applications, resumes and job interviews for summer employment. You have the skills to get a summer job, even if you have never had a paying job before.
Registration is required, and you can do that here. This is a two part online serious ready to help anyone learn about summer jobs. Part one is on Wednesday, April 14th.
Finding a job over the summer can be difficult and scary, especially if it's your first summer job. The Moline public library along with Susan Zelnio are going to help you learn all the tricks and tips you could ever need.

I got my first Summer job at 16 and had no idea what I was doing. It was stressful and I made plenty of mistakes. This series will help anyone avoid those mistakes.
