The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce today announce that the Clock, Inc LGBT+ Community Center in Rock Island will hold their very first "The Time is Now Telethon" event.  The online Telethon will be live on November 1 at 7:00 P.M. Central Time.

This telethon will feature individuals’ coming out stories, performances, giveaways, a live auction, a raffle prize, and appearances by, IL 17th District Congresswoman Cheri Bustos, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Chad Michaels, and more celebrities.

The Time is Now will stream live on the Clock, Inc LGBT+ Facebook and YouTube Page.  The hope for the foundation is that with support, and the promotion of celebrity guests, to reach a broad audience.  The goal of the fundraiser is a big one with the group looking to raise $100,000.

Clock, Inc's purpose is to provide a non-judgmental, safe and reliable community center for LGBT+ individuals of the Quad City area to reduce any feelings of discrimination or isolation.
Clock, Inc extends face to face opportunities to build relationships with others and provide them with support in multiple ways. There are opportunities for counselors, educators and parents to be more informed about the LGBT+ community and how to better assist individuals in the future
