These Quad Cities Area Stores Will Be Closed on Thanksgiving
Turkey Day is still a couple of weeks away, but that doesn't mean you can't start planning ahead.
While many stores choose to remain open on Thanksgiving for early Black Friday shoppers, others are staying closed to allow employees to spend the holiday with their families.
Most notable among the list of stores that will remain closed for the day is big-box superstore Costco. We expect their checkout lines on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to be pretty hectic as a result.
Here are some of the retailers you won't be able to visit on November 28, according to The Black Friday:
- Barnes & Noble
- Bed, Bath & Beyond
- Blain's Farm & Fleet
- Costco
- DSW
- H&M
- Hobby Lobby
- Home Depot
- HomeGoods
- Lowe's
- Marshall's
- Office Depot & Office Max
- Petco
- Petsmart
- Sam's Club
- Staple's
- TJ Maxx
We will keep the list updated if and when further closings are announced. Check out the full list of national retailers that will be closed on Thanksgiving here.
