According to sources cited by the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times, toy retailer Toys 'R' Us plans to close all 800 of its stores, including two in the Quad Cities.

We told you last Friday that there were reports that the stores may close. Toys 'R' Us backtracked on those rumors later that day.

Now, multiple outlets are quoting a source who says all eight-hundred Toys 'R' Us locations will be closed or sold, putting all 33,000 of the retailers employees out of work.

Toys 'R' Us has two stores in the Quad Cities - on Brady Street in Davenport, and on 16th Street in Moline.
