Accident Blocks I-80 EB Right Lane [UPDATED]

UPDATE (4:03 p.m.): Scene on I-80 EB is cleared. All lanes are now open.

An accident is causing delays on Interstate 80 east bound.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the right lane is blocked between Interstate 74 and Middle Road in Bettendorf.

As of 2:45 p.m., traffic was backed up past I-74.

Avoid the area if at all possible.
