A Polk County Iowa District Judge has approved a motion for a class action lawsuit if you ever had your speed camera appeal tossed out in court.

According to a story in the Des Moines Register the lawsuit filed by two men, Reuven Weizberg and David Peter Veng-Pedersen claims motorists were denied due process and asks that the court order refunds to motorists who unsuccessful appealed their traffic tickets.

If the suit is successful up to 6,000 people would be eligible for refunds.

So, if this is passes the judicial test  in Des Moines can a similar move in Davenport be far behind?
