Two Popular Chain Restaurants Are Opening In Davenport

The QC will soon have two more dining options for those in need of a quick bite.

WQAD reports that both Raising Cane's and McAlister's Deli are opening in Davenport.

Raising Cane's, a southern-based chicken chain, will open on 53rd St. next to Portillo's. According to the chain's Director of Marketing, the restaurant will employ about 115 full and part-time workers. Raising Cane's is set to open by Tuesday, October 22.

McAlister's Deli, a well-known, fast-casual sandwich spot, is currently being built on E. Kimberly Rd., in front of Fresh Thyme. A local Ironworks Union rep says the restaurant could be open within the next few months. McAlister's is owned by the parent company of Moe's Southwest Grill, Auntie Anne's Pretzel's, and Cinnabon.

A new McAlister's location is opening near the Aldi on Seminary St. in Galesburg, as well. That location also has a projected opening date within the next few months.
