Western Illinois Math Teacher Recognized For Making Extra Time To Help Students
The Spring 2025 semester is underway. So of course, we went out with our awesome program with Famous Dave's to honor and reward a great Quad Cities teacher.
It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Famous Dave's QC Teacher of the Week!
Congrats to Danyella Hatter, 8th-grade Math teacher at Edison Junior High in Rock Island!
Mrs. Hatter was nominated by her coworker, fellow teacher Alexander Nelson. He said in his nomination:
This teacher literally goes above and beyond for all of her students. She makes herself always available before, and after school and even during independent work, she makes plenty of rounds to make sure the students are understanding their assignments. I’ve had a pleasure of working with her, and I’ve never been more impressed with a teacher in my whole life. I feel like I understand math better now than I did when I actually was in school because of her she always make sure to drive for excellency and make sure her students know that they are truly loved and cared for one of the nicest teachers I’ve met for the type of students there are out there today that just don’t wanna learn she tries to make learning fun for them to understand.
Awesome job, Mrs. Hatter!
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Hatter has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, a shirt, and more, plus a gift card from Famous Dave's!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Hatter!
