Western Illinois Teacher Recognized For Helping Kids Develop Love For Reading

The Spring 2025 semester is nearly done. For one last time this semester, we went out with our awesome program with Famous Dave's to honor and reward an awesome Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Famous Dave's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Carson Dodge, a 3rd-grade teacher at Northside Elementary in Geneseo!

Ms. Dodge was nominated by one of her student's parents, Jen, who said in her nomination:

Carson Dodge is a 3rd grade teacher at Northside Elementary School in Geneseo, IL. My son Madden has her for class, and he has grown so much this year. He has developed a love for reading, and he is excited to share what he is doing in math every night! He is confident with his work and eager to learn new things. Madden says that Miss Dodge is funny, has a great way of explaining things, and makes learning fun. Thank you, Miss Dodge, for being one of the BEST!

Ms. Dodge was on a field trip with her kiddos so we left her a surprise!
