Mr. Lacy was nominated by Bree Chumbley, who is also a 5th-grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary. Bree said,

I am not doing this behalf of my child and their favorite teacher. I am writing on behalf of my teaching partner. Will Lacy at Jefferson elementary in Davenport is the most outstanding teacher I have ever met. Not only did this and the years prior start off differently but he got 2 new teaching partners this year too. Through this journey I've watched him with our students and he goes above and beyond. We have our days that are very difficult he always maintains a calm manner and all the children respect him for that. No matter who is in his class you can ensure he cares about each and everyone of those students success. We just found out, out of all the schools in the district our students have had the most growth from fall to winter. That is outstanding. But all of us couldn't have done it without Mr. Lacy and his ideas and belief in all of us. Mr. Lacy is a fabulous role model to our staff and students. I am truly so lucky to have him as a teaching partner. Thank you for your consideration.

Great work Mr. Lacy! For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mr. Lacy has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack which included a B100 stocking cap, stickers, Bubbl'r from Pepsi, a B100 Bluetooth speaker, and more things, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes
