Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed Against Trinity

Last week it was ruled no criminal charges would be filed in the death of pop superstar Prince who passed away 2 years ago this past week. Now comes news of a lawsuit against the local hospital that treated him.

According to WQAD, the Nelson family and Prince's estate have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against UnityPoint Health Trinity in Moline, who treated Prince when his plane made a emergency landing at the Moline airport.

The lawsuit claims the doctor that treated Prince failed to properly investigate and treat Prince’s opioid overdose in 2016.
