Eastern Iowa Teacher Gets Awesome Award For Helping Students Grow

The Spring 2024 semester is underway and once again we are heading out to a school with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Scooter's Coffee to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!

It's now time to announce this week's B100, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Scooter's Coffee's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Michelle Howes, a kindergarten teacher at Forest Grove Elementary with the Pleasant Valley School District in Bettendorf!

Mrs. Howes was nominated by a parent, Jasmine Sanner. This is what Jasmine said about Mrs. Howes:

"Michelle Howes teaches kindergarten at Forest Grove Elementary in Pleasant Valley. My daughter was in her class a couple of years ago, and Mrs. Howes still makes time to check in with her and our family. She makes 5 year olds feel safe and loved at school from the very first day. My daughter grew out of her shy little bubble because Mrs Howes made her feel confident in her learning and made her feel like she had a place. The amount of growth my daughter made was amazing. My family is so blessed to have Mrs. Howes in our school!"
