Zeke's Island Cafe:

We are big Zeke's lovers over here, and it's easy to see why- with fast, friendly service and some of the best Caribbean food you can find this far north, Zeke's is a no-brainer. Plus, they will gladly take your to-go over the phone in you're in a big rush.

What to order: You really can't go wrong with anything on Zeke's menu, but their Big Kahuna Nachos with pulled pork always hit the spot. They'll keep you full until dinner time (when you'll inevitably crave Zeke's again.)

Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie:

Not only does Oh So Sweet serve up some of the best cookies, cupcakes and other yummy treats in the QC, but they also have a pretty fabulous lunch menu. And their convenient online ordering system makes grabbing a quick lunch a total breeze. Just fill out the handy form on their website and you'll be picking up lunch in no time.

What to order: The Hog Heaven Sandwich, with ham, farmer's cheese and bacon jam. Yes, bacon jam. No questions, just order it. And get yourself something sweet while you're at it.

Capriotti's:

With a wide ranging and affordable menu that includes subs, soups, salads, and even vegetarian fare, Capriotti's is definitely a crowd pleaser.  They also have easy online ordering, so picking up lunch is fast and easy.

What to order: We're partial to the Italian Sausage Sandwich, with melted provolone and marinara. Yum!

Brix:

There are so many tasty menu items at Brix, we can't even begin to tell you. If you're feeling like salad, check out their all you can eat soup and salad bar for $7.99 from 11AM-2PM, Monday through Friday. Their pizza is also a favorite, and they serve up a different speciality slice each week day. And Brix also has plenty of daily lunch specials, all for under $10.

What to order: See above, or check out one of their pastas, like the Blackened Chicken Chipotle Alfredo. Delish!

Blue Cat Brew Pub

If you're hungry and nearby the District, but don't have a ton of time on your hands, Blue Cat is a perfect choice. Their menu has items ranging from ribs to pasta to hearty sandwiches and soups, and their price point is super affordable.

What to order: Check out the Blue Cat BLT, with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and raspberry jam. And we would never advocate drinking on your lunch hour, but their list of beers is pretty extensive...So we won't tell if you won't!
