The Quad Cities guide to green beer on St. Patrick’s Day

Kelly's Irish Pub, dubbed Iowa's largest St. Patrick's Weekend Festival, will have 150 kegs of green beer!

According to their Facebook event, Kelly's will also have one ton of Corned Beef, Irish Dancers, magicians, live music and more.

As always, this event is free admission and is open to all ages.

***Kelly's Irish Pub will be serving green beer March 12th & 13th as well as March 17th.***

I'm a little biased about this one. Not only do I live close to here, but Kilkenny's is also where my boyfriend and I met.

Under the same management, these side-by-side bars are the perfect place to party with your green beer while watching the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Davenport.

Their party will feature a $5 bloody mary bar, live indoor music, and outdoor entertainment in their heated tent.

Also located on the parade route in downtown Davenport, Mac's Tavern will be slingin' green beers, bloody Mary's, Guinness, and Jameson all day.

All of that liquor sure works up an appetite, good thing you don't have to go very far! Mac's Tavern will also be serving corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, Irish stew & shepherd's pie.

This is one of my personal favorites when it comes to food in downtown Davenport.

While the Barrel House in Davenport may not be located right on the parade route, it won't stop them from partying like they are.

Each Barrel House location in and around the Quad Cities will be serving green beer along with $4.50 car bombs and $7.00 beer + a bomb on March 12th.

Their downtown location on 2nd St. will also feature $4.00 aluminum Cans, $15 shotskis and a DJ from Twisted Mics entertainment starting @ 1:00pm + food specials running the entire month of March.

This is one of the best deals in town - $2 green beer drafts. Sign me up!

Caddy's will also be serving $3 St. Menthol, $3 Jameson, $4 16oz cans of Guinness, and $5 Irish Car Bombs.

In case all that drinking works up an appetite, Caddy's will be serving a corned beef dog, corned beef nachos, and a corned beef sandwich - each $7.99.

They will also have the traditional corned beef, cabbage + potatoes for $9.99

Governor's Pub & Grill will be serving green beer on March 12th as well as March 17th.

Both locations will also be serving corned beef and cabbage Saturday, March 12th and Thursday, March 17th for $9.99.

Governor's will also be running other drink specials specific to each location.

If the Village of East Davenport is more your speed, wet your whistle with some green beer at the 11th Street Precinct!

While you're hanging out in the village - don't forget about the McClellan Stockade.

McClellan's will be serving green beer right alongside their giant, mounted moose head.

In addition to beer, they will also have $3.00 Long Islands and $10.00 pitchers of Moose Juice (basically the same thing as a fish bowl, but in a pitcher).

Another place to find some cheap, delicious green beer.

Van's will be serving $2 green beers, $2 Irish flag jello shots, $3 jello shots, $3 St. Menthol shots, $4 16oz cans of Guinness, and $5 Irish car bombs.

But really - what are drink specials without the food to go along with them?

Van's will have rueben pizza's, a $7.99 corned beef sandwich, $9.99 corned beef + cabbage + potatoes, and a $5 cheeseburger basket.

Eat, drink and be merry - all while listening to live music from The Candymakers from 4pm - 9pm!

The Dam view also has specials on specials going on for St. Patrick's Day weekend!

They'll have $2 green beers, $2 Irish flag jello shots, $3 jello shots, $3 St. Menthol shots, $3 Tallboys, $4 16oz cans of Guinness, and $5 Irish car bombs.

The Dam View, open from 8am to 2am, will also have plenty of entertainment on Saturday, March 12th including Alan Sweet, The East Village Ruffians and Zach Harris Band.

Pints will open their doors on St. Patrick's Day to feature 20oz draft green beers for $3.50 and $3 green aluminum bottles.

The Bierstube - a traditionally German bar - will be joining in on the celebrations by serving green beer for St. Patrick's Day weekend.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the new arcade bar in downtown Davenport, this would be a great weekend to do it because you'll already be on 3rd St. for the parade!

Analog Arcade Bar will also be participating in the St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities by providing four kegs of green beer.
