The Water Is Safe In Muscatine

Muscatine residents, the water is fine. I've lived in Muscatine for 2 years now (and moving at the end of the month) and honestly I wont drink the water at all. Some days it's clear and ok, other days it has a yellowish tint to it.

According to Ourquadcities.com, on Monday, a gate limiting water flow through a UV disinfection system malfunctioned, posing a risk for damage to the expensive UV bulbs.

UV treatment targets bacteria and disrupts their DNA so they cannot reproduce.

I hope this fixes the yellowish tint.
