$10 Million Lottery Prize, $1 Million Prizes Are Unclaimed In Illinois

It's so easy to forget you bought a lottery ticket. You stuff the Powerball slip (or whatever the game is) into your pocket or somewhere in your car and it slips your mind to check it the next drawing.

There are many unclaimed prizes in the Illinois Lottery system. One is even a $10.4 million winning ticket.

Two of the unclaimed prizes (including that one) are Lotto, one is Lucky Day Lotto, and one is Powerball. The odds of winning these games are one in at least a million (16 million for Lotto) so definitely worth checking your ticket.

The $10.4 million winning ticket won in the drawing from February 8th and was bought at 294 Inc, at 9660 Golf Road in Des Plaines.

The $1 million winning Powerball ticket won from the drawing on December 21st, 2024. It was bought at the Jewel Food Store at 800 North Avenue in Melrose Park.

The $1.1 million winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket was bought at Miskas Liquor, at 6410 W 63rd Street in Chicago. It won from the drawing on September 8th, 2024.

If you're thinking you couldn't possibly have bought any of those tickets, you still need to see the list of unclaimed tickets from the Illinois Lottery. An unclaimed Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $650,000 was bought in Rockford.

Lottery prizes have to be claimed within one year of the drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery. There are a few other prizes that are worth $100,000 that will expire next month if they're not claimed.
