Earlier this month, we told you that rapper and entrepreneur, 50 Cent, would be holding bottle signings at select Hy-Vee's throughout the company, including a couple in Iowa. When we wrote that article, only two were scheduled in Iowa near the Des Moines area. But 50 Cent is making an extra stop at a Hy-Vee within an hour of the Quad Cities this Thursday.

At the end of July, select Hy-Vee stores throughout the company announced that rapper Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson III has scheduled signings to promote two different brands of alcohol. At first, those seem to be the only two stops that 50 Cent would be making in Iowa, but he has a third scheduled bottle signing scheduled and it's at a Hy-Vee in eastern Iowa.

The first 50 Cent bottle signing was on Sunday, August 15, at the Ankeny Hy-Vee. The second signing event in Iowa is actually today, August 18, at the Waukee Hy-Vee located at 1005 E Hickman Rd, Waukee, IA. Today's signing is from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

After the Waukee Hy-Vee signing today, 50 Cent will make one more stop in Iowa and it's happening tomorrow.

50 Cent and the Hy-Vee in Coralville located at 3285 Crosspark Road Coralville, IA announced he will be signing bottles of his Branson Cognac and Le Chemin Du Roi Champagne tomorrow (Thursday, August 19). The great news is that Coralville is only a 1-hour drive from the Quad Cities.

Tomorrow's bottle signing event will be from 5-6:30 p.m.

According to Hy-Vee, customers will have an opportunity to meet 50 Cent when they purchase bottles of Branson Cognac and Le Chemin Du Roi Champagne on the day of each signing event.

Sire Spirits, which is owned by 50 Cent, produces Branson Cognac and Le Chemin Du Roi Champagne and is sponsoring the signing events.

A fair warning for those making a trip to Ankeny or Waukee this month, a bottle of Branson Cognac and Le Chemin Du Poi Champagne is not cheap. Prices differ online but be prepared to spend a pretty penny to meet 50 Cent.
