A New Restaurant is Open at The Freight House

The grand opening of the latest addition to the Freight House happened yesterday in Davenport.

According to a Local 4 News story,  "The Diner" owner Tara Elkins said it's been a long journey since she first wrote the business plan two years ago.

Elkins says the restaurant opens at 6 a.m. daily. They have hearty food and a full bar.

You can check out the restaurant and get a sneak peek of The Diner with the Festival of Trees Brunch this Saturday 8:00 am-noon.

Santa & Mrs. Claus will be there from10:00 am-noon. There's a hot chocolate & coffee bar and brunch for $17.99 per person. Kids are just $5.99.
