I don't remember when, but at some point in recent years, it's become a trend to have animals predict things. More often than not, it's the outcome of a big sporting event. Jimmy Fallon has used puppies to predict the Super Bowl, and now the Des Moines Zoo is getting in on the fun.

Only...with rhinos. And they didn't predict a Super Bowl winner; they chose who would win in the game between the University of Iowa and Iowa State this weekend. The rivalry game will be played in Ames on Saturday, September 14th.

According to WQAD, a baby rhino named Kamara was presented with two boxes filled with hay and other treats, one marked with the Hawkeyes logo, the other with Iowa State's. She went back and forth a few times, but ultimately, she chose the Cyclones to win.

But her mom chose the Hawkeyes. Zoo leaders say that the split decision means the game will go down to the wire.
