That was my punny way of telling you there's a new restaurant that just opened in downtown Davenport and the restaurant's specialty is bread.

City Loafers is a new restaurant located in The Current Hotel, 215 N Main St, Davenport. I think this restaurant kneads bread puns. At yeast I think they dough. OK, I'm done. Let me tell you about the newest place in downtown Davenport to get your buns buttered.

According to their social media page, City Loafers breads are made from scratch using only the finest and locally sourced ingredients and are baked in a five-ton European hearth stone oven. They serve artisan bread, sandwiches & pizzas. Take a look at the menu.

What The Quad Cities Did For Fun in the 90's

Many times over the years, I'll be talking with friends about years gone by and I'll say "take me back".

Every generation goes through this, I assume. Looking back at a more simple time where responsibilities haven't set in and life seems fun. Opportunities are endless.

Let's go back to the 1990's to Wacky Waters, 50 Cent Beer night and revisit Mallards Mania!
