The day after Thanksgiving, and I was already decorating my apartment for Christmas because it's the most wonderful time of the year - after all.

Something about this season though just doesn't seem right, and I'm blaming it on the weather. Not that 60 degrees isn't fabulous, because it is, but it's not Christmas'y. I need some light fluffy snow on the ground before I lose it!

If you're not quite feeling into the holiday spirit, I've found a solution.

Dial-A-Carol

A 55-year-old tradition, known as Dial-A-Carol, has students from the University of Illinois on-duty, ready to sing whichever Christmas carol your heart desires.

They began singing carols this past Thursday and have two more days of 24-hour Christmas cheer left to give, so get dialing!

The students received over 5,000 calls in three days and have fielded calls from every state in the country as well as calls from Australia, S. Korea, and Taiwan.

You can give them a call, day or night, for a Christmas-pick-me-up at 217-332-1882 until 11:59pm CT on December 16th.
