Casting Crowns, Hillsong Worship Coming to TaxSlayer Center
Three Christian bands will be coming to the TaxSlayer Center. Per the announcement on Friday, Casting Crowns, Hillsong Worship, and We The Kingdom will be coming to the venue in April.
The three bands will be at the TaxSlayer Center on April 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Presale tickets will go on sale on February 16 at 10:00 a.m.
Hillsong Worship has done many Christian praise songs including "Who You Say I Am" and "What A Beautiful Name". The group was formed in Sydney, Australia in 1983. As of 2020, the band has won 1 Grammy Award and 9 Dove Awards. They also received 3 Billboard Music Award nominations in 2019.
Casting Crowns is a Grammy and Dove Award-winning band that began in 1999. They are known for songs including "Voice of Truth", "Lifesong", and "Praise You In This Storm". They were started by a youth pastor in Daytona Beach, Florida and later relocated to Georgia, where they added some more members.
We The Kingdom is the youngest band of the three, having begun in 2018 and releasing their debut single "Dancing on the Waves" in 2019. The band members are related-with multiple generations of relatives involved. Their songs include their breakthrough hit "Holy Water" and "God So Loved". They have won 3 Dove Awards and were nominated for 3 Grammys in 2021.
