One Of The Cheapest Margaritas For Cinco de Mayo Is In Wisconsin

Cinco de Mayo 2023 is this Friday, May 5th. So many people will be celebrating the annual holiday and most will be doing it with a cerveza or margarita in their hands.

If you're balling on a budget and are looking for some cheap margaritas, you'll want to head north of the Quad Cities to Wisconsin because they have some of the cheapest margaritas in the U.S. But Iowa is only a few cents more expensive which is a plus too.

Wisconsin Has Some Of The Cheapest Margaritas

I know, it's hard to stop spending money on drinks when you start. If you want to save yourself some money on Cinco de Mayo this Friday, book a hotel room now in your favorite city in Wisconsin.

Finance Buzz found that Wisconsin has the 5th cheapest margarita with the average price in the Cheesehead state at $7.30 per drink. The state with the cheapest margarita is Alabama at $6.13, and New Jersey is the most expensive at $12.20 per drink.

Luckily for us in the Quad Cities, Iowa is in the top 10 states with the cheapest margaritas at $7.58. Across the river, Illinois' typical margarita price is $8.02.

Why We Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Every 5th of May, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo to commemorate the anniversary of Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
