A favorite Christmas story is coming to the stage in Davenport.

The Adler Theatre announced that "A Charlie Brown Christmas" will be at the theatre on November 20th. 

The show will be at 6:30 p.m. and will tell the beloved story so many of us know. A release from the Adler said:

A Charlie Brown Christmas, the Emmy and Peabody award-winning story by Charles M. Schulz, has warmed the hearts of millions of fans since it first aired on television over fifty-five years ago.

 

Now the classic animated television special comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation that celebrates the timeless television classic so the whole family can join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts characters in their journey to uncover the true meaning of Christmas.

Presale tickets for Adler Theatre email club members will go on sale on September 12th at 10:00 a.m. The general sale for tickets will start on September 13th at 10:00 a.m. You will be able to get them at the Adler Theatre's website or their box office in downtown Davenport.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" isn't the only Christmas show at the theatre this year. The Adler has several festive shows lined up for the Christmas season, including "Christmas with C.S. Lewis", "The Nutcracker Ballet", and a "Live Conversation with Chevy Chase" that will feature a screening of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation".
