Davenport Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market Now Open

After a long wait and much anticipation, Fresh Thyme Farmer's Market on Kimberly Rd. in Davenport has finally opened. I was so excited to check out the store that I went first thing this morning. Probably a crazy idea, but I was happy to see that although the store was busy, I was still able to navigate each department pretty easily (with the exception of the mob of people scrambling for samples of their fresh baked bread).

The store's selection was amazing-all of the fresh produce, meat, seafood, and gourmet items you would expect from an upscale market, plus unique items like fresh squeezed juice; bulk coffee, nuts, oats, and grains; build-your-own pizza, fresh made sushi, an antipasti bar, and the biggest selection of hummus I've ever seen in my life. Not only was the selection at Fresh Thyme incredible, but the customer service people were so friendly and helpful. And the prices were reasonable, even for organic items. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can.
