I'm not much of a hunter (although I just got my FOID card), or a fisherman (although I've got 4 fishing poles sitting in my way in the garage).  Camping?  I love camping (even though I don't own a camper).  We will be doing a bit of camping this year.  Even if it's in a tent on the other side of our pasture, we will be spending some time in nature.

This is a GREAT event to grab some supplies to make sure you're not "roughing it" too much.

LOOK: Stunning vintage photos capture the beauty of America's national parks

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.

Keep scrolling for 50 vintage photos that show the beauty of America's national parks.
