There is a burn ban in effect for Davenport. According to QC times the ban is in effect through August 28th. This is obviously very frustrating to anyone trying to find a way to get rid of their fallen tree limbs.

This ban is due to an increased number of burn complaints reported since many people  are burning damaged trees and branches caused by Monday's storm.

"Any burn complaint received will be treated as a “No Burn Day”, and the property owner will be advised to set leaves and/or branches at their regular collection point."

Make sure you let others know that this is in effect to help avoid any further problems here in the QC. The city wants to collect them from your curb.

"It will take time for collection, but we all need to recognize the hazards associated with fire."
