The City of Davenport has closed the Centennial Skate Park starting today according to KWQC.com. The city will begin a $80,000 concrete project to repair holes and cracks in the concrete.

This leaves skaters and bicyclist to find another place to ride. Some have said they will go to Bettendorf's skate park, which is smaller than Davenport's, or do more street riding.

The Davenport skate park has been open for about 10 years and the project is expected to take about a month.
