Did You Win The $1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Illinois?
You may have some money in your console that you don't even know about.
Anytime we buy a lottery ticket we always think to ourselves that this might be it. This time we just might win more than $5! If you happened to stop by a gas station in the Chicago area recently, you really do need to check your ticket.
NBC Chicago says that a 'Lotto Million 1' ticket was sold at ARCO gas station, which is at 2758 W. Peterson Ave. in the West Rogers Park neighborhood. That ticket just happens to be a $1 million winning ticket.
The lucky person who had all of the winning numbers to match the July 6th jackpot hasn't come forward yet. Those winning numbers were 1-8-12-16-28-49.
The store is having a lucky streak: one of the gas station's regular customers won $10,000 on an Instant Ticket earlier the same week.
Illinois Lottery winners have one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize. We may never know exactly who won it, since Illinois Lottery allows winners of prizes over $250,000 to stay anonymous. But if you do happen to have a winning ticket, Illinois Lottery encourages you to write your name on the back of it ASAP and keep it until you're ready to go cash it in.
According to the Illinois Lottery, Lotto is an Illinois-only game that is played three times a week: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. In addition to the regular drawing, Lotto offers two additional drawings: Lotto Million 1 and Lotto Million 2.
