Do Women Always Pick The Wrong Guy?

Aside from work events, I have never started a conversation with a female at a bar. However, have seen many guys and girls both strike up conversation at bars because that's why you go to the bar. Most everyone goes out to meet other people. Question is: Does it seem like the guys and girls always pick the wrong person when they're in a bar? Is it more about Mr/Miss Right Now instead of Mr/Miss Right?
