Quad Citizens looking for an escape are going to be able to find it in the virtual world soon!

According to KWQC, downtown Davenport is getting an E-Sports and Virtual Reality gaming facility this August. The building will be located on 2nd Street, but it's not just for entertainment! Early in the day, it'll be used for corporate training, including sexual harassment training. In the afternoons, it'll become a hands-on tutoring hub for students.

The gaming will happen mostly at night, with the first tournament scheduled for the first weekend in August. Gamers will compete in Fortnite, a battle game similar to The Hunger Games.

Outside of the tournament, no firm opening has been released, but we'll keep you posted!
