Eastern Iowa Elementary Teacher Honored For Helping Kids Find Their Strengths
It's the Fall 2023 semester and we are heading out to schools with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Scooter's Coffee to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!
Congratulations to Scarlet Oliver, 1st grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Davenport!
Mrs. Oliver was nominated by Franco Munoz, who said:
I would like to nominate Mrs. Scarlett Oliver as the B100 teacher of the week. Mrs. Oliver is a 1st-grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Davenport. Mrs. Oliver gets to know all her students as an individual and concentrates on their strengths and putting students at ease. Her genuine care and dedication to each student and their growth are evident in every interaction. Mrs. Oliver’s approach to teaching is patient, kind, and focused on development. Her ability to connect with parents and guardians creates an environment of trust, stability, compassion, and learning. Her influence is felt beyond their 1st-grade year as she is invited to quinceaneras, graduations, and even their weddings. Mrs. Oliver's connection with her students goes far above their 1st-grade year as she is leaving her positive imprint on so many lives.
Great job, Mrs. Oliver!
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Oliver has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, koozies, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a cup and gift card from Scooter's Coffee!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Oliver!
