Davenport Teacher Recognized For Believing In Students, Being A Role Model

Kids continue hard this fall so we're going out this semester for our surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to highlight and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Jackson Bevans, 6th-grade teacher at Smart Middle School in Davenport!

QC Teacher of the Week Fall 2026

Mr. Bevans was nominated by Chiane, who said in their nomination:

The teacher I am nominating is Mr Bevans at Smart Middle School in Davenport Iowa. He is an amazing, kind, and caring teacher. Every day he makes learning a fun time in his classroom, between doing fun extra experiments with the students, and incorporating his various class pets and their care into the lessons. He will always listen and be there for his students, and has repeatedly gotten emails or letters from his students thanking him for believing in them. He cares so much about every single student who enters his classroom and is an absolutely amazing role model.

Awesome job, Mr. Bevans!

For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mr. Bevans has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack, including stickers, a 12-pack of Coca-Cola, plus chocolate goodies from Ultimate Chocolates in Bettendorf!

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mr. Bevans!
